Who we are

Fibre Fale is a purpose-led organisation founded to create pathways into technology for Pacific people. We exist to amplify representation of Pasefika in tech and grow the next wave of transformative industry leaders.

Pacific people make up only 4.4% of the tech industry.

We're working to change that.
Our vision is to increase the number of Pacific people in the digital technology industry to equal population representation in Aotearoa New Zealand by 2042.

What we do

We create platforms and programmes for Pacific people to connect, learn and grow. Since launching Fibre Fale in November 2022, we have engaged with over 10,000 people across more than 70 events and programmes and reached over 3 million people online.

Cybernesia

Cybernesia is a digital village for Pacific people to come together, to draw knowledge and to feel connected as a community in the digital space.
