Julia carved out an international career working in tech across AU, the UK and the US before returning home to Aotearoa where she co-founded Fibre Fale. Since 2020, Julia has dedicated her career to service of Pacific communities serving on multiple Boards and projects - and driving representation and visibility of Pacific people in tech. In the Niu Wave Masterclass, Julia shares frameworks, insights and strategies from her own personal toolkit and lived experience.

While building a successful tech career as a Software Engineer and Developer Evangelist, Eteroa created a start-up called DigiTautua to help bridge the digital divide by refurbishing and distributing devices during Covid19 lockdowns. Following her heart for service and community, she co-founded Fibre Fale to continue her mission in digital equity and grow representation of Pacific people in tech. Eteroa shares the inner work and career learnings that helped to shape her success in Niu Wave.
